Twilight at Glenelg, Curiosity sols 170 and 176

Go Back

Twilight at Glenelg, Curiosity sols 170 and 176 Curiosity shot most of this panorama on sol 170 (January 27, 2013), shortly after arriving at Yellowknife Bay. A small section near the setting Sun was taken on a later day, sol 176. The sky here is synthetic to suppress seams between images. The blue color near the setting Sun is modeled on sunset colors observed by previous landed missions.
