Filed under pretty pictures, amateur image processing, Mars, Curiosity (Mars Science Laboratory)
After crossing Dingo Gap into Moonlight Valley, Curiosity took this panorama of the north slope of the valley. Several distinct layers of rocks are exposed -- some massive and blocky, others laminated, some showing cross-bedding.
