The Planetary Society and the LEGO Company have teamed with NASA to include the Red Rover Goes to Mars project in the 2003 Mars Exploration Rover mission. This joint initiative will include unprecedented opportunities for hands-on public participation in the mission, details of which will be announced at a Student Press Conference held at the World Space Congress in Houston.
The Planetary Society and the LEGO Company have teamed with NASA to include the Red Rover Goes to Mars project in the 2003 Mars Exploration Rover mission. This joint initiative will include unprecedented opportunities for hands-on public participation in the mission, details of which will be announced at a Student Press Conference held at the World Space Congress in Houston.
The Student Press Conference participants will include over 150 middle school and high school students and educators from the greater Houston area, who will be joining the professional journalists in questioning the press conference panel.
