It is vital for the human race to continue the many years of vast efforts and experienced people have contrubuted to continue this vital work. It is so short sighted to cut funding to such basic science by politicans that it hard to imagine. Many of us still alive today recall the tremendous national pride our supreme efforts have past off in the past in planatory explorations and trips to the moon. Are we now a third world country willing at a politicals whim to forgo this world acknowledged leadership??

I will help to bombard them with this issue, BUT I think no one in congress has any science understanding (or any other understanding) but let's try.

Cut the level of atomic weapons to the 300 that the Pentagon wants. This will provide more than enough to fund NASA

Bill, great job! You should check out Kerbal Space Program. It is a very interesting game where you design, build and launch your own spaceships. It's very realistic in terms of physics, there are multiple planets and moons to discover. It's great for educating youth and getting them interested in space exploration. As a member I would love to see more events aimed at the youngest as they will be our future members.

As a non-US citizen, I can testify that the relentless effort started by this country in the fifties was and still is an unequaled way to give it a positive image abroad. The current U.S. policy about space exploration simply negates the tradition of boldness, expertise and determination which stuck to the U.S. banners sent to the limits of our solar system. What a pity !!!

Mark Enriquez: 07/28/2013 04:15 CDT

Really love being a part of this!

When countries explore they are dynamic in every way. When countries pull back they are on a path towards stagnation.

BILL NYE S I think that is not valued scientific and technological progress for humanity in each space flight as a flight not only to discover but darlea perform experiments to humans more medical benefits, etc, etc.. and we meet our goals more hacerca on earth and who we really are and that we communicate with others outside the universe. Thanks for the opportunity to express myself and have them as friends. RAMOS RAUL NUNEZ.
