Endeavour Comes Home--Shuttle Flies Over its Birthplace

Mat Kaplan was at the Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey, California to watch Shuttle Endeavour salute the adjacent, former Rockwell plant where it was built.  He shot this video as hundreds cheered the spacecraft.  A portion of the old plant was repurposed as the Downey Studios, now defunct.  Watch for the Apollo Program Command Module test article outside the Center, where a full-size Shuttle mockup is also on display.
