Map of Jezero, Midway, and Northeast Syrtis landing sites
Jezero crater is 45 kilometers in diameter. Three of the final four candidate landing sites for Mars 2020 were inside or near it. The colorful base image is from Mars Express HRSC.

The base image is H0988_0000, taken 29 July 2006 by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on ESA's Mars Express. A red/green/blue image was overlaid on a higher-resolution panchromatic image. Here is a version of the base image without markings at the full panchromatic resolution of 12.5 meters per pixel (PNG, 48MB)
