The Lure of Europa

Washington, D.C.

Europa is a moon of Jupiter that may have three crucial ingredients for life: liquid water, energy, and nutrients. What, if anything, can be found in the great oceans of Europa? Could NASA look for life? How could we explore affordably? Join Bill Nye The Science Guy, eminent NASA scientists, and prominent legislators for an engaging discussion about the scientific lure of Europa.

Confirmed speakers:

We will also feature a large-format photography exhibition from National Geographic's recent cover story on Europa.

This event is free and open to the public.

RSVP is not required, but helps us plan accordingly.

Please note that we can not guarantee seat availability, even with an RSVP (though there are special exceptions for media and invited guests). Make sure to arrive early to ensure you have a space.
