Ronald Blom is the Discipline Program Manager Solid Earth Science and Natural Hazards, Earth Science and Technology Program Directorate at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is one of the co-discoverers of the lost "city" of Ubar, an ancient desert outpost for assembly of camel caravans for transport of frankincense across the Arabian desert.
