Richard Berendzen

Richard Berendzen is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physics at American University in Washington, D.C. He is a former member of The Planetary Society's Board of Advisors and former member of NASA's Exploration Advisory Task Force. He was the President of American University from 1980–1990, and the Director of NASA's Space Grant Consortium for Washington D.C. until his retirement as a professor from the university in 2006.
