The Year in Pictures: 2008

I have, at long last, posted my annual roundup of some of the most significant images from 2008. This year's selection process was interesting; I wound up with an unusual number of pictures that were actually pretty low resoluion -- not so suitable for posters -- but which seemed to me to be important landmarks of events in planetary science this year. Please check it out!

EDIT: My mom reminded me that you all might want to see previous years in pictures, so here's those links: the Year in Pictures 2007, the Year in Pictures 2006, and the Year in Pictures 2005. Enjoy!
