Color mosaic of comet 1P/Halley taken by the HMC camera onboard ESA's Giotto spacecraft. Source images were taken between 13 and 14 March 1986 through red, blue and clear filters. Last image was taken at a distance of 1,936 kilometers.

All source images were resampled to 50 m/pix resolution.
