Color portrait of 67P
Color portrait of 67P Rosetta took the photos for this portrait of comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko on August 6, 2014, from a distance of 115 kilometers, with its OSIRIS science camera. When fully enlarged, it has a resolution of just 2.2 meters per pixel. There is very little color variation across the surface, but the "neck" region is slightly bluer than the two lobes.
