This flyover animation of West Holden Crater was created using digital terrain model and image data from the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft.

Adrian Lark creates these animations using a 3D engine that he wrote himself that actually generates the fly-throughs in real-time, just like in a video game.
