Aberlady drill site, Curiosity sol 2370
Curiosity drilled into Aberlady on sol 2370 (7 April 2019). The rock was so soft that the drill only needed rotary motion, not percussion, to penetrate. Aberlady is Curiosity’s 20th successful drill site and the fifth since returning the drill to function.
