InSight's deck is the bright spot at the center surrounded by darker solar panels and very dark cast shadows. InSight landed in an especially smooth spot. To the east is a fresh impact crater about 100 meters in diameter with blocky ejecta. To the west-southwest is a large splat of impact craters (secondaries from a crater called Corinto, 400 kilometers away). Only the largest crater in the splat has brought up blocks of rock from the subsurface; all the smaller ones lack blocks.
