Steve the Proton Arc
While chasing aurora near Kamloops this week I captured an amazing phenomenon. Some have called it a proton arc while others claim it is not. Some veteran aurora chasers have been stumped by this and what causes it so have started calling it "Steve".

This is a 5 image pano of the "proton arc" called steve. Assembled and post processed in Lightroom 6 EXIF 11mm - f/2.8 - ISO 2000 - 30 Sec
