Pre-March/Yuri's Night Celebration!

Dallas, Texas, United States

Hello Space Fans! The DFW Chapter of The Planetary Society is having a Pre-March for Science + Yuri's Night Celebration April 11th, 2017 at the Wine Therapist with musical talent dj eWi! Come celebrate Yuri's Night and meet fellow science advocates as we gear up for the March for Science happening Earth Day, April 22nd. The March for Science is an international movement, led by organizers distributed around the globe. This movement is taking place because of the simultaneous realization by thousands of people who value science in their lives that staying silent is no longer an option. There are marches being planned across the United States and internationally. If you're interested in helping with the March, please contact us or reach out to March for Science - Dallas team for more info! Yuri's Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space. Yuri’s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human to venture into space on April 12, 1961, and the inaugural launch of the first Space Shuttle on April 12, 1981. We hope to see you all out there!
