We’re looking for images you’ve taken of your sky—whether those images are of galaxies captured through a telescope or perhaps pictures of an incredible night sky, an eclipse, a star party, or a rocket launch. We can’t guarantee that we’ll publish every image and story—but we will look at each and every one and will showcase as many as possible here on our website and a few might make it to our magazine, The Planetary Report. There is nothing quite like a rocket launch. The anticipation builds with the first arrivals, waiting in line from late afternoon into the evening, sun scorching, humidity suffocating. Hundreds, eventually more than 2500 people came from across the United State, from around the world to witness a dance between technology, gravity, and the stars. Hey!! I'm just a Canadian hip-hop cat trying to make a difference. Bill Nye has always been an inspiration to my everyday efforts to do the right thing. My mother has an animal rescue business and my father was a big inspiration to me in my musical efforts. I, along with a few others here in the UK, are trying in a very short space of time to raise capital to show the University of Dundee, Scotland that there is practical, alternative funding and future for the DSRS facility in its' 50th Year of service and its' 40 years of archived satellite data / imagery. Is this useful for Climate Change Research? It's Funding Grant was not renewed by the UK, Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).
