My name is Michael Taylor and I am 8 years old. I was diagnosed with high functioning Asperger's when I was 3 years old. At 4 years old I became fascinated with outer space. I would study and read about the planets and the universe, I would watch videos and even my favorite Bill Nye the Science Guy episode 15 "The Planets", draw the solar system and make my own models. I even extended my research beyond our own solar system and learned about stars, exoplanets, and black holes. I am fascinated with exoplanet wasp 12 b which is the hottest planet to ever be discovered and is slowly being eaten alive by it's own star. Tres 2 b is a black planet with a red glow. My theory about black holes is that microscopic particles of light escape without us even knowing because the particles are microscopic and making it hard for us to see. My heroes of science are Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Become a member of The Planetary Society and together we will create the future of space exploration.
