Who are we? We are YOU!

We are dads, moms, grandparents, teachers, kids, scientists, engineers, and space geeks. We are those who reach out into the Universe to seek answers to those deep questions: Where did we come from, and are we alone?

We are wowed and awed by the discovery of new things, the mysteries of science, the innovations of technology, the bravery of astronauts, and by the stunning images sent back to us from other worlds.

We know that space exploration is vital to humankind...and it is just plain fun!

My mother has an animal rescue business and my father was a big inspiration to me in my musical efforts. He passed away from cancer in 2016 and since then I've felt a yearning to be a part of something bigger. I work as a welder in a vehicle assembly plant near Toronto, Ontario. Seems ironic my job is probably one of the main contributors to climate change and yet here I ... more »

Dundee Satellite Receiving Station (DSRS) Scotland facing the bulldozer after 50 years

by Keith Burrell

June 10, 2019

I, along with a few others here in the UK, are trying in a very short space of time to raise capital to show the University of Dundee, Scotland that there is practical, alternative funding and future for the DSRS facility in its' 50th Year of service and its' 40 years of archived satellite data / imagery. Is this useful for Climate Change Research? It's Funding Grant was not renewed by the UK, Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). If we achieve funding for the short / intermediate term it allows time for securing long term funding. The Alert came from ... more »
