Dr. John C. Pearl is an emeritus scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. He has been a co-investigator on a number of planetary instruments, including the infrared spectroscopy experiments aboard Cassini, Voyager, and Mariner 9, and the thermal emission spectroscopy (TES) instrument aboard Mars Global Surveyor.
