Riding With Cassini Through 2014

This year marked a decade of Cassini's looping waltz within the embrace of Saturn's gravity.

I made a short video that includes simulated views of the Cassini spacecraft as it orbited in 2014--along with the real images its cameras captured at the very moments shown in the simulations. I used JPL's Eyes on the Solar System software to make the views of the spacecraft in orbit around its host. The video is better if you switch it to HD quality, of course!
