Nicole N. Barnes

A child of the Midwest, Nicole worked her way west by serving at various non-profits from museums to zoos to animal shelters. As Director of Community Giving, Nicole brings over fifteen years of experience in membership, annual giving, guest services, strategic marketing communications and outreach to help The Planetary Society engage with our community and increase our collective impact. Nicole’s love of people and serving others is the foundation for the work she does.

Outside of the office, you can find Nicole volunteering at local animal rescue organizations, fostering dogs and cats, spending time on the many hiking trails in her neighborhood, watching a football game or at a concert.
