Let’s change the world.

Our micro-passengers have been packed into their tiny tubes and are now at Cape Canaveral, Florida, waiting for the next leg in their grand journey!

At ATCC in Manassas, Virginia, scientists filled three sets of tubes: one set for flight, one set of Earth controls for comparison, and one spare set ready for flight.

The next major Shuttle LIFE event will be here in Florida, when the tiny tubes are put into tiny wells, which will then go into the not so tiny Space Shuttle for launch. All this will yield not only a joy ride for several million bacteria and archea and about 150 water bears, but also a study of the effects of space flight on those organisms, and a “wet run” for our Phobos LIFE experiment that will launch later this year to send organisms on a nearly 3-year flight to deep space and back.

It’s not too late to join the team!

Just $1 helps us test our hypothesis.
