The MESSENGER spacecraft reached Mercury last week. Bruce Betts reports from the Applied Physics Lab in Maryland where the mission team celebrated success. Emily Lakdawalla comments on the spectacular images returned. Bill Nye the Science Guy explains what a beer can has to do with cheaper access to space, and Bruce returns with Mat Kaplan to tell us about the night sky and announce a new space trivia contest.
