Airdate: Monday, August 6, 2007
Running Time: 00:28:52
Listen: Windows Media | MP3

The Phoenix lander is off for the north polar region of the Red Planet. The Planetary Society's Amir Alexander was at the Kennedy Space Center. We'll talk with him about the exciting pre-launch events. Then Jon Lomberg, creator of the Visions of Mars DVD, gives us an overview of the Martian library placed on Phoenix by The Planetary Society. Emily Lakdawalla continues the Phoenix theme with her Q&A segment, and Bruce Betts takes Mat Kaplan on another tour of the busy night sky just before beginning another space trivia contest.
