Come out to South Pasadena on Friday, July 13, for a unique evening of entertainment -- a benefit performance of Ray Bradbury's magical play, "Green Town" -- hosted by Ray himself  and followed by an intimate private reception with Ray, Bill Nye the Science Guy® and more ... Tickets are going fast!

Ray Bradbury is one of those rare individuals whose writing has changed the way we think. His timeless, constant appeal to audiences young and old has proven him to be one of the truly classic authors of the 20th Century -- and the 21st. Once read, his words are never forgotten.

"Green Town" presents a series of three stories, set in a small town similar to the one where Ray spent his own boyhood in Illinois.  Like his famed novel Dandelion Wine, Ray draws upon the mythos of a now all but vanished small-town America, where children played and discovered life without television or computers or video games.  But, in true Bradbury fashion, everyday life is a springboard for magic.

Plus there will be a special Mars presentation to Ray! A few weeks ago, Ray was invited to choose a target on Mars to image with the THEMIS camera on board the Mars Odyssey spacecraft. The picture of his chosen site -- a region near the south pole called Inca City -- will be presented to Ray for the first time at this event.
