Bill Nye & 100 Years of our National Parks

Please accept marketing-cookies to watch this video.

At the Planetary Society we want citizens everywhere to know the cosmos and our place within it. 2016 is the one hundredth anniversary of the National Park Service. For 100 years the Park Service has been preserving our natural wonders so that we can go to the parks... and wonder! This wonder is what drives so much of science.

As astronomer Tyler Nordgren likes to say, "Half the Park is After Dark." So when you're in our National Parks, look up at the night sky and see all those stars. And wonder.
