Long-lost siblings? Designed in the 1990s, Magnum (left) was a heavy lift NASA rocket based on existing space shuttle technologies that could have hauled about 80 metric tons of cargo to low-Earth orbit. Two decades later, the first SLS version (right) had a similar appearance and capabilities.
