The 70-meter Deep Space Network dish in Canberra, Australia talks to New Horizons on 3 January 2019. "Nothing says 'I'm about to go into Solar conjunction' like the ominous subreflector shadow over the feed horns," remarked Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex employee Richard Stephenson.
