Cat scratches on Titan This region seen by Cassini RADAR on February 15, 2005 is covered with sets of black linear features that were (at the time) referred to as "cat scratches" for lack of any obvious explanation for their origin. The scene covers an area about 240 kilometers (150 miles) top to bottom.
