Colorizing the sol 2 Navcam with sol 3 Mastcam thumbnails An attempt to colorize part of a Navcam image of the eastern flank of Aeolis Mons with the Mastcam thumbnail color panorama released on sol 3.

NASA / JPL / MSSS / Emily Lakdawalla

The upper portion of this Navcam image, overlaid with some color from this panorama. The panoramic image had to be warped unscientifically by quite a large amount in order to align them.

With how spectacular even the Thumbnails are coming, I am excited to finally see shots of Mt. Sharp itself. Come on JPL, complete your pre-programmed shots, and manually show us the mountain! :)
