Curiosity's first photos Top row: left and right front hazcam images; bottom row: left and right rear hazcam images. These were the first taken by Curiosity after landing, shot before the transparent lens covers were flipped open. They were taken on August 6, 2012 at 05:20 UTC. Most of the black spots are dust kicked up from the landing.
