In the middle of a long drive within Violet Valley on sol 548, Curiosity stopped to take two sets of photos of outcrops of rock that had been called "striated terrain" based upon its appearance in HiRISE images. Looking southeast toward Mount Sharp, Curiosity looked straight down the dip of the tilted beds at an outcrop called Junda. More formats: Left stereo | Right stereo | Flicker gif

This is a red-blue anaglyph. Use 3D glasses (red over left eye, blue over right) to see it in 3D.
