Looking into the depths of the Great Red Spot
As JUNO made its long awaited close pass over the Great Red Spot it obtained this image, the highest resolution view yet obtained of this enigmatic and enduring cyclonic storm.

The 3 channel strip image was divided into its color channels, aligned and optimized in color balance and visibility of detail to my preference. Some unsharp masking in different detail scales was applied to help reveal the details.
