Jupiter's Great Red Spot from Voyager 1 The Great Red Spot as viewed by Voyager 1 on March 5, 1979, resampled to a resolution of 5 km/pixel (original resolution ~5.5 km/pixel). The color information was taken from wide angle violet, green and orange filter images.
