the original jpg'ed Bayer encoded images from
http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?s=19
Were processed using G'Mic to convert the bayer encoding to RGB.Then a PDE flow was used to remove most of the jpg artifacts .
then mosaiced using Nip2
