Hayabusa2 approaches Earth
Hayabusa 2 took this series of images of Earth with its Optical Navigation Camera on December 3, 2015, as it approached for its gravity-assist flyby. During that time, Hayabusa2 closed from 200,000 kilometers to just 36,000 kilometers away from Earth.
