Chang'e 3 and Yutu on the Moon on their third lunar day A photo from Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter shows the Chang'e 3 lander and its little Yutu rover on the Moon on their third lunar day, February 17, 2014. On the first and second days, the rover had circled the lander, driven south, and then returned toward the lander. The rover did not move during the third lunar day.

The premature failure of one of motors of the robot Yutu has paid me the attention about the lack of extensive test under extreme temperature (swing from aprox 130 C to -180 C) for the round Moon's day of 28 days in the labs. Hope that Chine Space Agency rectifies its defect by trying a improved resilient on the next launching (Change'4?)
