We invite you to join us on Safari in Tanzania to see the Annular Solar Eclipse as it passes over Africa on September 1, 2016 and to enjoy splendid days looking for lions, leopards, and other wildlife in the finest wildlife parks in East Africa.
And, on September 1, we'll watch the Annular Solar Eclipse from Ruaha National Park in south central Tanzania—a remote wilderness park off the beaten track with a superb safari experience.
To see the Annular Solar Eclipse, we will fly from Ruaha to Mbeya, not far from Lake Malawi, where we will stay at a coffee plantation. Nearby is the fourth largest meteor yet discovered on earth—a mass of almost solid iron.
In Northern Tanzania—traditional safari country—we will discover the profusion of elephants, lions, and other wildlife which inhabits Arusha and Tarangire national parks, and the vast, spectacular Ngorongoro Crater—the finest wildlife sanctuary in the world.
From rare rhinos to hippos, and spectacular birds, you will be thrilled! You will travel with our superb safari leader, Dr. David Bygott, and excellent local driver guides.
