The Planetary Society creates and participates in events to bring the excitement of space exploration to public audiences. From our world-wide Planetfests to lectures in small-town libraries to hanging a solar-sail blade in Rockefeller Center in New York, we are constantly finding new ways involve our members in the excitement of space exploration.

This Monday evening, the Juno spacecraft will attempt to enter orbit around Jupiter. Join us at the Smugglers Cove Pub (just inside the entrance on the ground floor) to watch live coverage streamed from the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, CA.

Asteroid Day Victoria - 2016

Join us on Thursday, June 30th 2016, for an exciting evening at the Dominion Observatory (meet, up in the parking lot, next to the dome). We will speak with renowned astronomer David D.
