Hello Venus! Hello Alien!

Yoo-Hong says: "I imagined that I have taken 'Venus Express' for an important
space mission, and surprisingly I have met an alien friend from Venus. I told
the alien where I come from and what I like to do in my school with friends
and he was very interested and he invited me to his home in Venus.
"When I first started the painting, I have studied about Venus and I
also researched the alien. I was hoping to see if there are any aliens. I know
the fact that Venus has a very harsh environment but who knows if an alien
could live there? I thought I could imagine them and hopefully I can meet the
alien and I would be the first one to find out. If I meet them I would hope
to be friendly to them and we all can get along well to make wonderful universe."
"I have used several techniques to make it more fantasy-like. I have used
salt and water to make beautiful craters of Venus. I also have used sponge and
paint to make different effects such as marblization." |
