Planetary Deep Drill field test command center
At the first field test of the Planetary Deep Drill, Honeybee Robotics used a U-Haul truck as a command center. Data from the drill was relayed to the truck, including images from the bore hole that were displayed on the TV monitor. Shown (left to right) are: Albert Ridilla, Huey Nguyen, and test lead Bolek Mellerowicz, all from Honeybee Robotics, and Bill Abbey and Mike Malaska from JPL.
