My Sky

We’re looking for images you’ve taken of your sky—whether those images are of galaxies captured through a telescope or perhaps pictures of an incredible night sky, an eclipse, a star party, or a rocket launch. We can’t guarantee that we’ll publish every image and story—but we will look at each and every one and will showcase as many as possible here on our website and a few might make it to our magazine, The Planetary Report. We look forward to seeing your Sky.

Science.. Do I say more?

by Jessica Healy

July 22, 2018

I am 18 years old. I watched Bill through out my middle school years. I was fascinated when I started learning about the sky and minerals in the ground.. And who could forget, the mitochondria in plants. When I ... more »

Astronomy is fascinating

Ever since, I've been learning and practicing Astronomy by observing celestial objects with my telescopes, and educating people and conducting various stargazing sessions. Photographing the celestial objects has become one of my main interests to express my love towards Astronomy. More than a hobby, Astronomy is my Passion and profession as well.

8 year old planetary enthusiast

by Michael Taylor

May 1, 2018

My name is Michael Taylor and I am 8 years old. I was diagnosed with high functioning Asperger's when I was 3 years old. At 4 years old I became fascinated with outer space. I would study and read about the planets and the universe, I would watch videos and even my favorite Bill Nye the Science Guy episode 15 "The Planets", draw the solar system and make my own models. I even extended my research beyond our own solar system and learned about stars, exoplanets, and black holes. I am fascinated with exoplanet wasp 12 b which is the ... more »
