As a child I grew up on the edge of a small town in Quebec just north of Vermont. The skies were very clear in those days. I was always fascinated by the stars, and wanted to know what lay beyond the Earth and Solar System. Later in life I felt called to Ministry, but always believed that Theology and Scientific Discovery (incl. Astronomy) had to be in harmony. (Remember that a no. of early astronomers were theologians.) I want always to stretch my knowledge of the universe in which we live. I often wonder if there may be many "universes" of which we are only one. I am also curious to know why our universe is continuing to expand, and the "steady state" theory of repeated expansions and contractions seems to be disproven. - (Rev.) David S. Fearon
