Moon through my 8" Telescope

Moon through my 8

Took this picture with a phone camera last month through my Zhummell Z8 dobsonian telescope.

The Z8 can see a ton of Deep sky objects in the dark rural skies where I live and it's amazing to look at other galaxies, nebula, and clusters from my backyard in North Dakota. Sadly I can not photograph most DSO because I only have access to a cell phone camera and a dobsonian telescope is very limited in its tracking ability.

It really is amazing to see all that's out there and I'm glad to be a new member of The Planetary Society and I hope I am doing my part in advancing knowledge of what's out there.
