Gamma Ray Pulsar Discovery and The Planetary Society

Dear fellow members: As a member of the Planetary Society team number crunching for Einstein@home I can proudly announce that my computer helped to discover the previously unknown 4.80 Hz Gamma Ray Pulsar J1932+1916 in data collected by the Fermi Gamma-Ray space telescope. The data were collected on 19 September 2011.
Given this example I would like to urge other Planetary Society members to join in the efforts of Einstein@home and SETI@home. There is significant chance that your efforts may lead to real scientific discovery!
Fifteen years ago, Society members and passionate space advocates like you helped save the Pluto mission. Now we can do the same for missions to Europa and Mars.
