Seeking Solace in the Stars

The universe has saved me throughout my life. The sparks inside me began to catch fire when I was seven years old in 1979 when I began to take my dog out for night walks. I was exiled from the three-dimensional world by an absurdly traumatic home life in Los Angeles. It was outside, under Orion’s belt and bow that I felt safe and protected. Add to the mix the Voyager launches, a third grade field trip to Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Carl Sagan’s Cosmos and the first Space Shuttle landing which I attended and I have been gaga for The Wawa (as I call the multiverse) all the days and nights of my life.
