Apollo + Star Trek = The not so final frontier

One of the best things of being a very little girl in the 1960's was the wealth of space science being offered to the public. I did not care if "girls did not like such things..." ... Made me figure it must be something extremely good then, and worth an even deeper appreciation. The Apollo missions and Star Trek absolutely began my interest in space and the subjects related to it. Add in Carl Sagan and Arthur C Clarke and that pretty much sealed the deal for me.
