A Golden Nature Guide to Stars
Randy Jones
December 3, 2012
I was barely 8 years old when my folks took me to the Griffith Park Planetarium in LA where I got my first copy of the Golden Nature Guide to Stars. The next year in 4th grade, there was an Astronomy Chapter in my Science book, but I already knew all that stuff! I was 12 before I got my first telescope, but I still have my observing notes and drawings. I spent so much time looking up, I've got a permanent crick in my neck, but I wouldn't trade a moment of it. :-)
